Skim Read for Context small

Reading isn’t like reading. When you are trying to establish the context of the debates and arguments (and facts) that make up your subject, you don’t have to read your sources carefully. Rather skim them in order to make sure that these are the sources that you need at this moment. Once you have established which ones are the key sources, only then invest the time to deep read them.
